the German island of Sylt is only nine sea miles away, so just a 40-minute ferry trip from Rømø. Ideal for a day out shopping or simply to walk along the beach. The Sylt ferry transports holidaymakers and vehicles several times a day between Rømø-Havenby and List/Sylt. If you’re lucky, you’ll see the seals, chilling out on the sand banks along the route.
